Mont es Croix Cottage
Mont es Croix Cottage is a 3 bedroom cottage, situated on a hill above the beautiful St Brelade's Bay. It is on the south coast of the island and just a short walk from the more secluded Beauport Bay. Built in 17th Century, Mont es Croix Cottage was originally built as a single storey, thatched house and has been lovingly rebuilt.
There is underfloor heating in this spacious, well equipped accommodation and lovely details such as the now exposed original stonework (including a fireplace with a salt box in the lounge, and an early marriage stone above the front door). It is one of three cottages, in a country setting, beside La Moye Country Park. In St Brelade's Bay there is a lovely sandy beach with many seasonal watersports on offer plus restaurants and beach shops/cafes all within downhill walking distance of this lovely property - though the hill to return to the cottage will prove a challenge to some! There is a country park next to the property where red squirrels, green lizards, wild pheasants and fowl wander free-range that can sometimes crow. This an ideal location for a great family holiday.
Children of all ages most welcome.
Sorry, no smoking inside the accommodation.
Pets welcome.
